But Rossella Drudi worked on countless other Italian genre movies throughout her decades-spanning career, writing and co-writing horror films including Hell of the Living Dead, Women’s Prison Massacre, Rats: Night of Terror, Monster Dog, Zombi 3, Robowar, After Death, Beyond Darkness, and The Crawlers, and that list quite frankly goes on and on.

Ronnie Platt, the singer of classic-rock legends Kansas, has revealed that he’s battling thyroid cancer. As a result, the band has canceled two upcoming concerts while the vocalist undergoes surgery to have his thyroid removed.

Platt disclosed the news after Kansas posted they were canceling their upcoming shows “due to band illness and doctor advisement.”

Bruce French, a veteran of the stage and prolific character actor who worked with David E. Kelley and appeared in NBC’s aughts soap Passions across the entirety of its nine-season run, died Feb. 7 at the age of 79.

Day of the Dead actor Anthony Dileo Jr. passed away on Friday night due to complications from Covid.

A frequent collaborator of George A. Romero, Dileo played Pvt. Miguel Salazar in the 1985 zombie classic, in addition to appearing in Knightriders, Monkey Shines, and Two Evil Eyes.

Sometimes credited as Tim Dileo or Antone Dileo, the actor also played a zombie and worked as a production assistant on Tom Savini‘s remake of Night of the Living Dead, which Romero produced.

“It is with great sadness that I let you all know that my dear friend and colleague Anthony Dileo passed away last night from Covid,” Dileo‘s Day of the Dead co-star Lori Cardille shared on Facebook yesterday.

“Tim was filled with love for nature, his beloved animals, family and friends and fans. He made me laugh every day while making Day of the Dead. Tim was an accomplished pianist with a beautiful voice.

David Lynch’s death in January was the result of cardiac arrest due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, per a death certificate from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health obtained by TMZ.

The acclaimed film director and creator of the TV series Twin Peaks was 78.

A Louisiana woman has been arrested and charged with using the credit cards of Adan Manzano, the 27-year-old Telemundo sports reporter found dead in a New Orleans area hotel room Wednesday.

According to the Kenner (Lousiana) Police Department, the woman, identified as Danette Colbert, was arrested after allegedly using Manzano’s credit card at several stores in New Orleans. Additionally, according to police, security video from Manzano’s hotel shows Colbert and Manzano entering his room early in the morning of February 5, and Colbert leaving alone shortly after.

A Kenner P.D. press release indicates that Colbert has an arrest record that includes two allegations of drugging men, theft of currency, fraudulent use of credit and debit cards, and other financial crimes. Police also found Manzano’s cell phone in a search of Colbert’s home in Slidell, Lousiana.

The 68-year-old game show personality shared the story between tapings of Family Feud.

Steve shared the off-air moment on his Facebook page in a video he captioned, “It was a whole situation!”

“Arrested at the Border with my boy Ced, and let me tell you, it was a whole situation!” Steve’s caption continued.

David Edward Byrd, who created psychedelic posters for Jimi Hendrix, The Who and Grateful Dead shows and for such Broadway productions as Follies, Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar and Little Shop of Horrors, has died. He was 83.

Byrd died Monday at a hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, rep Jerry Digney announced. Jolino Beserra, his partner of 40 years, said on Facebook that he died of pneumonia.

One of the foremost graphic artists of 20th century pop culture, Byrd did lots of work for rock promoter Bill Graham’s Fillmore East, which opened in the East Village in Manhattan in 1968, and designed a poster for the original Woodstock festival (it turned out it wasn’t used when the event was moved).

He designed posters for The Rolling Stones’ tour of the U.S. in 1969 and The Who’s performance of their rock opera Tommy at the Metropolitan Opera House in 1971 and album covers...
