Good But Too Much Domestic Filler. An entertaining series when dealing with the Jackal's exploits. And his technical expertise and abilities. But the over indulgence with the female leads domestic issues, which is all too typical in British Shows, brings the whole thing down a couple rating points. His domestic issues also become too much filler. But not nearly as bad as hers. Take most of this out and you save two episodes. By episode 5 you really hate the lead actress. Lastly, the opening theme song is so hideous one has to skip it or go deaf. I loved the way it ended with every hated character getting their come upens.
There are so many lapses of basic police protocol and school security it's ridiculous. Not sure why K9 is featured in the title, very few scenes with the dog, he's just a prop. How does a body fit in a hole that is 12 inches by 12 inches. There are idiotic components like these throughout. The dialogue is typical Hallmark movie, not a Mystery Movie. Its far from the Mystery 101 and Gourmet Mysteries. No witty banter. . And the music is so bad it puts you to sleep. Pretty soon people are going to stop watching these movies because they're cranked out without regard to quality.
Who is running Hallmark these days? And where did the writers disappear to?

We were excited to actually see a new Hallmark production with a Mystery bent.
But these characters are written as the most dimwitted souls on the planet. . We were truly disappointed and annoyed.
When my wife says turn it off after twenty minutes then it must be really awful.
I try not to render my opinion too soon.
Oliver has so little emotion as to be an android. And what Shane sees in him is a mystery unto itself.
From the flight home babbling through to the ...we can't fix things in the house ...it couldn't get more ridiculous.
The whole baby theme was bizarre. Norman and the baby. Jeez, what a mess.
You couldn't even wait to find the mystery given the level of stupid unrealistic drama they threw up.
A 12 year old could have written a more enticing story.
Hallmark has really lost the great mystery vibe from 2019-2021.
