This Romance Comedy is funny, silly and clever.
I thought the special effects, though quite low tech, were a fun and humorous addition. (The world crashing down of Mehmet, the stabs in the heart and back for example).
The actors did well with what they had to work with. Yasemin Kay Allen and Irem Sak are really beautiful actresses. And Murat Boz was endearing. He may have exaggerated his part of a depressed man, but that was the point, I think.
There story line was predictable, but it was entertaining anyway.
The biggest turn off for me is the excessive use of alcohol. I understand that it was part of the story, but I found it excessive.
All be it, the movie is a cute one.

Loosely based on the idea that a child chooses the parents, this little movie is fine for children and families to watch if they are bored one rainy Saturday afternoon.
It is pretty ridiculous that the voice of the future child is heard and is influencing the outcome of her future. The lead actress is quite cute and her friend is too. That's the most positive thing about the film. Otherwise, the writing, cinematography and acting were mediocre at best. I'm not saying I hated it, but it was just very silly. If you have a child 15 and under, they may enjoy this film. Otherwise, it's probably something to pass on.

Generally a light comedy with a predictable and fairly obvious plot. Yet, it's not terrible, but even enjoyable for a simple movie night comedy that the whole family can watch.
The acting for many of the characters is exaggerated and sometimes cartoonish. The character of the biological father was silly. But there are some funny lines and scenes. My favorite is when the teenage son slept between his mom and the "rental dad".
Also, it was a little corny that this smart and hardworking mom was raising bratty kids and all it took was this random guy to show up and suddenly everything is peachy. Although it was cute in the movie, I think it's far more complex in real life. I suppose I could defend the movie's message that a male figure is of great value to a family. I believe that is true. But it looks a little too simple that this guy shows up for a couple of days and is instantly the hero.
None the less, the movie is kinda cute as long as you don't over think it.
