LancelotSB's rating
It's a decent anime, although it feels disjointed and lacks focus due to the overwhelming number of characters. While the storyline has potential, the execution is lacking.
Throughout seasons 1 to 4, there are too many events occurring, none of which offer a satisfying conclusion. Several subplots feel abandoned, while others are rushed or unnecessary.
The character count is excessive, which detracts from the overall impact. In terms of action, it's just okay; the skill sets are solid but not groundbreaking.
The world-building aspect is enjoyable and reminiscent of the "Lord of the Rings" franchise, but I believe it could have been developed further.
The voice acting is pleasant, and the music scores are decent. Both the opening and ending songs are okay but not particularly memorable.
Overall, it's a decent watch.

This event takes place immediately after the finale of season 2. Unlike in the series, the animation quality is outstanding, and the musical score provides a truly cinematic experience.
The storyline is solid, focusing on the history of Trolberg City and the trolls. It features plenty of action and intriguing mysteries. I particularly enjoyed the voice acting by most of the characters, especially Hilda and her mother, Johanna, who delivered very emotional performances. Baba is a charming addition to the group.
It's important to watch the series to fully appreciate this movie. I highly recommend it!

To be honest, I was quite skeptical about watching this series, but after hearing numerous praises and recommendations online, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did, as I admit it's one of the best things I've ever watched.
The animation is very reminiscent of "Adventure Time," which is my favorite show. However, the tone of the animation, especially in Season 1, made me feel like it wasn't meant for me. Thankfully, it got more serious and better as the series progressed.
**Season 1**: It has a very slow start and feels more like a show specifically for kids. However, it improves towards the end.
**Season 2**: This season features a much better storyline and world-building. It's thrilling and action-heavy compared to the first season, with better songs. The last episode ends on a cliffhanger that connects to the movie, and the emotional ending is quite impactful.
**Season 3**: For me, this is by far the best season. It's on par with "Adventure Time." This season takes a more serious and darker tone compared to the previous ones. While there isn't as much action, it focuses more on adventure and mysteries. The characters seem to have matured, and the songs are fantastic.
The animation style is clean, with great attention to detail. The scores are mesmerizing, and both the intro and outro are charming. I highly recommend this series. However, if you are light-hearted, be aware that the storyline in Seasons 2 and 3 becomes darker.
