I have no idea what the point of this movie is. You need to be high on Acid to watch it, I assume. It's some kind of mockery of science fiction and unintentionally ridiculously comical for being nothing like anything Star Trek. Why this film was made or why anyone thought money should be spent of this rancid farce is incomprehensible. The story, for the 1st act, takes place in a space lounge and none of the characters or the story seems to have any purpose. They must have been completely confused as to what was going on, themselves. There's a western style bar room brawl. There's a lot of blah blah blah talking about things that happened in the past. But there's no action. It's like a dark comedy of dumb bedtime stories that make no sense. A bunch of whiney misfits are given a Mission Impossible task in another universe? It's complete rubbish. A bad joke.

I'm trying to imagine how this epic failure even managed to get released. It has the famous director and several A list actors and that's what I suppose was the reason to subject the public to this giant stinking turd. It's much ado about nothing. A modern day New York with a Roman Shakespearean lining? Characters just talking in mundane riddles of melodrama that devolve into less than nothing. Who would read this screenplay and think they'd want to be involved in this absolute dud, boring drivel? It's mind boggling. Francis Ford Coppola must be suffering from dementia. I can't explain this travesty, otherwise. What in the world was he thinking? It's unwatchable. Hahaha.
