The Godfather (1972)
The GOAT 🐐
This is the third time I have watched this cinematic masterpiece, which I consider to be the best film in history. The Godfather is not just a movie, it is an icon and an artistic painting in the world of cinema. It is the definition of cinema, a woven and wonderful story, legendary acting from Brando, and an imaginative character transformation from Al Pacino. Tyranny, control, power, arrogance, and money are all things embodied in the movie. The most important lesson in the movie is that if you are not a wolf, wolves will eat you, and if you do not take your rights into your own hands, there is no one to take them for you. The Godfather's character, Vito Corleone, is a wise character with experience, knowledge, and intelligence. He has acumen in all his movements. He is a person of authority and strength and knows how to manage things. After Vito's death, this personality was transferred to Michael, and we saw him begin to make important decisions and manage the family business. He officially became the godfather. Well, I am waiting to rewatch the second part to enjoy Michael's character and the story. Vito in his youth. Well, we will discuss this later. Now let us stay with the first part. We have the splendor and multiplicity of personalities. Firstly, we have Sonny, who is the nervous character who solves his problems with his fist and has no room for discussion, as he represents strength. Secondly, we have Tom Hagen, who is the advisor who uses thinking and wisdom and studies. His steps before taking them. Thirdly, we have Fredo, who is a person with a weak personality. He takes the wrong side and his decisions are not sound. One of the beautiful things is the stage of Michael's escape in Sicily, Italy. We saw the beauty of life and the atmosphere of the conservative villages and the romance between him and Apollonia. The opening scene was wonderful, giving you an atmosphere. Calm down and listen. The scene of eliminating the heads of families was the final step to impose absolute control and prove the dominance of the Corleone family. Well, in conclusion, it was amazing to re-watch the greatest movie ever, and I am excited to continue the series.
The Great Dictator (1940)
Humanitarian
Another classic of Chaplin, a great way to employ the Second World War in this comedic way, the narrative of the film shows the absurdity and trivial reasons for the invasion and destruction of peoples, the persecution of different races, religions and people, the stupid idea of the supremacy of one race, the creator Chaplin employed comedy to show the stupidity of dictatorship and racial backwardness, a story that was wonderfully woven to show the human side and the brutal side with two different characters performed by the legendary Charlie Chaplin, the romance of the film is light and gentle, there was some boredom in the film, but expressive and wise, especially the final speech that leaves an imprint on you and a deep human idea of how to spread peace, Chaplin used a verse from the Bible and that was wonderful, it's amazing to think that Chaplin is writing, directing and acting, what a great work.
Witness for the Prosecution (1957)
1957 year of Judiciary
Watching this artwork made me feel as if it was related to 12 Angry Men. The film is creative in detailing the facts and revealing falsehood. We do not forget the fox, Sir Wilfred, who played the role of the lawyer in a great way. The film is based on speech and discussion. There is not a lot of movement. The film makes you immerse yourself and focus on it. You do not feel its time, an excellently woven story, the narration was a mixture of drama and comedy, a lot of intelligence and wit entered and dominated the atmosphere of the film, funny and romantic shot at the same time, a shot of Leonard and Christine dating, wonderful, many shots of twists in the plot at the end Which gave us the perfect ending and made me give the film a full mark.
12th Fail (2023)
The most emotion-filled movie
I can't describe the greatness of this amazing, magnificent, indescribably inspiring piece of art
The best movie outside of Hollywood I've ever seen in my life
A masterpiece that progressed without a sexual shot, no shot of violence or anything, and here lies the greatness, where a great, elaborate work was presented without a sensitive shot , the film is very realistic and an embodiment of the life of poor families and widespread corruption in society
Manoj is a young man of character and humble from a poor village full of bandits, his father's work was suspended because of his fight against corruption and theft, Manoj tries to succeed in the twelfth grade in order to get a job and support his family, but fails because of cheating, he takes valuable advice that changed the course of his life { don't cheat } to succeed then in the twelfth grade without cheating with a third degree and all his class cheated and got a first degree, and here Manoj's struggle journey begins in pursuit of studying, graduating, working as a police officer, and about the study and here Manoj's attempts begin to succeed
So he starts working in a library during the day and studying at night, and then he gets acquainted with Shraddha, who will be his future wife, during many emotional problems occur, such as disagreement with Shraddha or living as his family suffers from poverty, Manoj works in a mill and studies, but difficult circumstances lead to his failure in the exams for the third time, and here brother Gauri intervenes, who transfers Manoj to study in his room and takes care of his family's expenses, Manoj devotes his time to study and then passes the tests, well, I wrote a lot of details of the film from the intensity of love that I came out with, but it's hard to describe it fully to the degree of great detail, creativity, and the struggle, inspiration , success, determination and love contained in it is a historical motivational masterpiece.
Oldeuboi (2003)
Pure Korean madness
The film is full of plot twists, the atmosphere reminded me of the movie parasite and the story is similar to the movie ensendis, the same idea, the narrative was elaborate and interesting that keeps you inside the atmosphere of the film without a moment of boredom, the writing of the events is perfect and all the scenes have a high acting and a high level of talent, the editing was legendary, especially the moving between the shots in the opening scene, the events of the film are accelerated, the music in the torture scenes gave a flavor to the shots that enter you into a vengeful state, the crazy Korean atmosphere is tyrant in the film in a great style, the colors in the film are dark the last 20 minutes of the film are difficult to absorb, the film is a legendary masterpiece about revenge and the embodiment of the idea of incest.
Apocalypse Now (1979)
Headache
Well, the film is good, but it is complex and deep in a strange way. The majority of the film's events feel as if they were random. The narration was good and appropriate for the atmosphere of the film, and it is as if you feel the transformation that befell Willard, but most of the story makes you feel bored. At the end of the film, here I began to feel the events. The cinematography is good, and the camera angles are perfect. Greetings to Coppola. The emotions in the film involve you in the story and its madness. The colors were wonderful. Many colors were used, and each occasion has a specific color. The calmness of the sound puts you in the atmosphere of the listener and you have to listen carefully. In general, the film is good but not as complete as a war film in my opinion.
