Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life" is about a man, George Bailey (James Stewart), who is feeling down and that he is worth more dead than he is alive. There's an angel up in Heaven that still needs to earn his wings. If he can save George, he will earn his wings.

We are shown a recap of George's life and the impact that he has had on his community over the years. This is so the guardian angel can get familiar with George.

George saved his kid brother from drowning as a young boy. He also prevented the local pharmacist from accidentally sending out poison in someone's prescription. George always had big dreams of getting out of his small town and traveling the world and eventually attending college. However, George gets married to a local gal, Mary and ends up working at the family business. The Baileys run a savings and loan that helps the poor members of the community afford their own homes and get out from underneath the greedy Mr. Potter. The wealthiest man in town.

What George forgets is that he is the wealthiest man in town. His wealth comes from a loving family and friends.

George wishes he was never born. His wish is granted and his guardian angel shows him just how different his community and the life of his loved ones are without him. His kid brother drowned since George was no longer there to save him. Mean ole Mr. Potter owns the town. He's even changed the name to Pottersville.

George sees how wonderful his life truly is and wishes everything to be back to normal. He now has a greater appreciation for all the blessings in his life. He also sees that those who he has helped through the years are willing to step up and help him in his time of need too.

It's a Wonderful Life is a heartwarming film for all ages. Do yourself a favor and watch the original black and white version. Watch the film as it was intended to be.

Die Hard (1988) was Bruce Willis's first big hit film, having been on the television series "Moonlighting" and doing some minor films such as the 1987 film "Blind Date".

Willis does as great job as officer John McClain. John's a New York police officer who is estranged from his wife. He flies into town to attend the Christmas party at Nakatomi Plaza, where is wife Holly works and to spend Christmas with his children.

A group of terrorists invade Nakatomi Plaza during the party and keep the attendees as hostages. John isn't out amongst the crowd when the terrorists show up. He's able to hideout long enough to assess the situation. Once he realizes what's going on, John attempts to get the police to the building by setting off a fire alarm. The group of terrorists are smart enough to cancel the alarm and thwart John's attempt to get help.

Having been left no other options, John starts trying to deal with the situation himself. John is eventually able to get the attention of a local police officer and communicate the situation to him. He also starts going after the terrorists one by one in this fast paced action thriller.

The original Die Hard is one of my favorite action films, as well as one of my favorite Bruce Willis films.

Lake Placid 2 is a Sci-fi channel original movie. The home video version has some nudity added in.

A small town Sheriff (John Schneider) has an unexpected Crocodile issue in his hands. His joined by an ex girlfriend and a couple of hunters to try and capture the Crocodile. What they don't know is that there are four of them that have been fed by an elderly gal Sadie (Cloris Leachman). She considers the crocodiles her children.

The sheriff's teenage son and some friends decide to go camping on the beach. Unfortunately, the teens encounter the crocodiles. Only a few of them are able to escape. The sheriff and his posse destroy one gator, but don't realize that there are more until one invades their camp.

Lake Placid 2 is good fun for what it is. You can obviously tell that the crocodiles are fake, but for a no budget Sci-fi channel original movie this is actually pretty good.
