The Circle (2017)
Unfilled potential
It was good up until the 1st half.. then it kindda got confusing during after that, and it went all down hill in the last 10 minute of the mivie.. it's like the writers didn't know how to end the movie.
Thirteen Days (2000)
Good movie...very recomended
I just watched this movie just last night (Over 20 years after it was released), It was awesome, I can't believe I did not watched when it came out or few months or years after...
I always like True Story movies, and This one is among the best, the details of the events and the conversations makes it easy to understand the flow of the event, to think the world was horrifyingly close to a nuclear war.
Few questions though... what accent did kevin costner was trying to do in his kenneth o'donnel character, because it didn't came out clear and often it comes and go.
And what ever happen to that one last cargo ship that tried to run the blockade? Did it got boarded for inspection? Did it turned around? Or did it make it to cuba?
Infinite (2021)
Could have been a great movie
I can tell this had a good original idea, but somehow the messed up... I only got to 1/3 of the movie, the cheesy dialog, bad acting and nonsense madeup facts made me quit. I mean even the special effects were not that good (for today's standard of sci-fi movie)
Nightflyers (2018)
a lot of inconsistency
Good start and interesting premise. There are ALOT of inconsistency in the flow of the story. Too many to tell, just annoying.
The Tomorrow War (2021)
Start strong, weak finish
Watched it twice already, love the story concept.. it was all exciting and breathtaking in the beginning, action non stop will keep your eyes glued to the screen, but did not end as exciting as the first half of the movie.. looked like the writers ran out of steam.
Loki (2021)
Interesting start
It is always a debate on the new timeline loki created by escaping with the tesseract.. this series will enlighten the issue
By the way it is sad that most of The targeted audience don't have any prior knowledge on D. B. Cooper case...
Prison Break (2005)
Start strong loses steam in the final season
Good storyline, keeps us guessing on what next could go wrong ...good acting on most cast... But weak Final season finish
A little detail that i hate from this series is that DB Cooper died for nothing.. and his money ends up in the river no good for anyone.
Timeless (2016)
an ok Show but very interesting history facts
I just finished this, the script, acting details and story line.. for me it's just ok... BUT what keeps me going to the end is that I learn something new and interesting about history... and just like any other time travel movies/series the whole time travel concept is confusing and many loop holes in their story.
One question though they finished the "loop" by eventually giving flynn the notebook.. but what about the fact that they were "saved" by bearded flyn and short haired lucy from 2023? Are they going tp close that loop too? Because if they don't do that, rufus would still be dead.
Breaking Bad (2008)
Cream Dela Cream of Tv Drama
For me Breaking Bad is THE BEST TV Drama Series period. It even out rank Game of Thrones (because of that horrible disasterous final season).
BB has everything, Drama, Suspense, Somehow comic, and Intelligent, and in a perfect balance. Sure this show doesn't have the amazing CGI excellence and the Colossal scenes of GOT, but This show makes up for it with Fantastic Real world Family and Crime Drama, The quick short cut of drug business solution for their financial troubles, the innocence, quick thinking and wit of this Walter White Character puts you on the edge of your seat at the end of every episode. And The Character Growth is Just Fabulous on all character. I just love the twists and suspense not knowing what is going to happen in the next episode.
Anyway this show is highly recommended.
Ozark (2017)
Fantastic
Now this show is what I was looking for since I finished Breaking bad and Narcos, It's Undpredictable, Funny and Smart and that Collage of Images they show at the beginning of every episode is just unique way of letting us know what to expect in the episode .. plus watching this I learn a something about the money laundering world... after watching this, looking back to Narcos, I can see whay Pablo's Taxi Business (for money launder) is not working. Jason Bateman that we use to seeing in romcom and chick/family flick drama is surprisingly very well adapt to the Genre change of Ozark
If There is One thing I can critic about Ozark is that this Marty guy is lacking Character Growth (hence my 8 star rating), from the 1st episode he seem smart and witty enough to be dropped right into the final episodes of Ozark.. the other members of his Family on the other hand, has very great and visible Character Growth through out the series, specially the youngest child...
And the cliff hanger ending of Season 3 keeps me wanting more of Byrds family adventure...
So Anyway this is a very recommended Show...
Van Helsing (2016)
Started out promising.. but quickly looses steam
First episode got my curiosity, but as I continue my excitement dwindeled down... I Watched it up to S01E09.. could find the strength to continue.
This Show is just lacking the gritty dark drama I was looking for (like Dark, Stanger Things, Mindhunter), I mean This Show had a solid premise, twisting and adapting the Van Helsing Story to Modern day Apocalypse, it really intrigue me at the beginning, but along the way it did not focus an the main story, too much side story that is unimportant and more often boring. Feels like I was watching 90's tv show (buffy the vampire slayer, beauty and the beast, etc)
Death Note: Desu nôto (2006)
Brilliant start, weak finish, but still great show
No spoilers... This show has a great starting foothold. The mixing between mythical fantasy world of god of death and police detective story line is brilliant, just works brilliantly.
But as the story grows the details on how things work out gets blurry and un logical character decision making happens more and more often
But overall very enjoyable despite the weak finish, and oddly i am hoping there is a death note 2
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)
Timless copy??? (On S7)
Why is season 7 feels like I'm watching Timeless on Netflix???? The Story line is just like the Timless Series... Multiple time travel, Missiin to preserve the present, conflict within the group.... I mean who is copyin who?
And since season 4 agent's of shield has very little connection with the MCU big screen storyline... I was happy that the early seasons are somehow in sync with the MCU story line, like the fall of hydra, ultron.. etc.. but now i am wondering where are this agents of shield position in that storyline...
The Cabin in the Woods (2011)
Poor third act
Intriguing at first, excitement in the the middle and a total mess and let down at the end...
Us (2019)
Whaaat???
Get Out was Brilliant.... this is a big black mess, ALOT of plot holes and inconsistentcy
