I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The plot picks a lane and stays in it. No pretense of being a serious film, but no silly, over the top humor either. There is much that is unexplained, but who cares? The banter between the two cops is hilarious enough. Quite believable and somewhat disturbing scenario. One thing I don't get is why the zombies are all dressed in their everyday clothes. Wouldn't they be wearing the clothes they were buried in? Also, the zombies are a little too intelligent, as they seem to recognize people. Zombies are human bodies controlled by a bacteria and is a mindless bag of meat and bones, relentlessly pursuing human flesh. No consciousness, intelligence, or memory.
Oh, one more thing. Selena Gomez is very cute in this movie.

As a love story, it's unbelievable. Michelle Pfeifer is 20 years younger than Jack Nicholson. Nicholson's age is showing. He's doughy and paunchy. As a horror movie, it's not scary. There's little to no tension and very predictable. This movie needs editing down to 90 minutes.
The only thing that really shines in this movie is Rick Baker's makeup work. While not on par with what he did for "An American Werewolf in London," it's not bad.
Speaking of "American Werewolf..." this movie owes a lot to that movie but "Wolf" isn't nearly as good. If you want to watch a werewolf movie combined with a love story, watch "An American Werewolf in London" instead.

Even if the leading man, Frank (Hugo Metsers) wasn't an effeminate, skinny, repulsive, Brussels sprout, with greasy receding hair and ridiculous sideburns, This movie would still suck.
Watching this movie is like taking a tour of the Netherlands, but only getting to see the worst parts of any of it. I'm not sure why this movie was made, or Wyatt hasn't been destroyed to save humanity from ever seeing it again, but both of those things should have happened, a completely repulsive, pointless movie with no redeeming values at all. Don't waste your time with this trash. I wish I could get my hour and 37 minutes back.
