Sunday 26 February 2023. I started watching this Canadian television show a few weeks ago. It is a woman's show, but as a man, I like every episode. I am not used to hearing women curse this much, but I love the racy dialogue and bits of profanity, which is done in a sexy way not mean-spirited.
My favorite characters are Anne Carlson played by actress, Dani Kind, and Kate Foster played by Ivan Reitman's daughter, Catherine Reitman. I like that Kate is not afraid to be sexy and the cute petite Filipino actress, Jessalyn Wanlim in the role of Jenny. The sexy sarcasm between Jenny and her bisexual boyfriend is fun to watch.
The only reason why I will not rate it ten stars is because of the use of the "B" words on women. Women have been referred to or called the degrading "B" word long enough in t.v shows, movies, and in real life and it will not end unless people and writers stop using it.
I am a middle age man and I dislike hearing women being called a "B" by a man or by women in fun or in anger. Also, I like African Canadian actress, Enuka Okuma in the role of "Sloan". She is pretty, sharp-witted, and sexy. In my opinion, what makes actress, Dani Kind's Anne sexy is her hot temper. She is not afraid to speak up and say what's on her mind.
Two Thumbs up, well worth watching.
