gfs1966's rating
As a retired radio/TV reporter and meteorologist this is my new favorite. It does remind me of the original from 1996 and in 1997 Twister was the first ever DVD pressed when DVD's first came out. (Meteorology this movie is correct). Worth the time and worth seeing over and over. Technology used in the film was awesome as well as where it was filmed. Soundtrack was great.
I did not see it in the theater I watched it the day it was released on Amazon Prime video. Don't pay attention to the folks that are giving it a 6 rating this deserves an 8. Script and acting was great. Storm chasers deserve respect for what they do for NOAA and the weather community. They put their lives on the line to not to just the video but the technology they use to help further with time saving efforts to further warn people in the alley of when warnings are issued and the speed of when they are issued. Solid film my grade A++
