A sequel to Galdiator? Bring it on! Ridley Scott too? Wow & then the truth comes out via reviews & actions. Let down of huge proportions. From when the movie starts, I knew it bombed as it lazcked EPIC dynamics. Being released to stream gives it away + reviews. None the scenes, action or stars made their mark. There was so much that could have been done with a continuation fro Glad 1 but instead, we get this. I am a lover of good movies. I wondered why I went to reach for the remote 3 times. It is not like me. Finally, I got out of this movie with no regrets. What happened? Ridley, you boo-booed. What makes this smart is that the expectations were running on warp speed only to see it crash. What I really miss is there was no UNLEASH HELL in this. Instead, nap if you need to. So sad & what a shame.
The original concept had me hooked & when I watched the movie, the hook remained in place. It did what all good movies do i.e. To allow the intrigued viewer to ask this question: what would you have done? Worth even seeing twice too. Thank you. The second film gives us more of the premise & some additional detail on the invaders holding ones attention thank you. The third one? What in the world is going on? The story goes south & tries to take the viewer with it. There is a pattern emerging in Hollywood that making money & how to do it is very important AND with some movies they do just that. On sequels, they want to ride the gravy train AND some are done better than others. After that, there is a cop-out among the directors, story writers & actors that simply says: We we got paid! Whether you like the film or not doesn't matter to us. What I object to is the miseleading way we are are asked to care then dropped & forgotten. Shame on you people who made a lot of $$$ & then did what everyone else did. The viewer/fan left high & dry. Movie-making is not my chosen field so what do I know? However, spending my money on movies is. I want a refund on this third story. No matter. My expensive education continues. Don't keep doing this Hollywood especially with all the movie apps out there. You just might go broke?
