The Big Year (2011)
knowledge in the movie
seriously.... before i watched this movie, i didn't know that there is a competition such big year. And i did a double check about big year. Well, there is big year hahaha.... I'm sorry about that. haha But still I'm wondering; do they really take 300 pictures of birds?
What a nice idea that the movie is about birding issue. This movie gave me such knowledge; about bird species. The movie was also funny, entertaining and i love the message behind it; friendship, trust, motivation, and perseverance. The cinematography was really nice. However i hate the computerize bird, looked so fake. i thought Hollywood movie can make it more real.
Columbus Circle (2012)
predictable
nice opening scene.
I don't like the character changed significantly at the end. I think it is just weird because she was vulnerable, pathetic, anti-social. and i didn't think that she could be evil easily like that. well maybe it was because she was trapped in such situation and her brain worked fast.
The story was easily predicted. I realized it when the scene of her life story background was told. I was like 'SNAP! the woman died because the new neighbour wanted to be close with her then bla bla bla bla....' though i didn't think that her trust man was also evil, but still im gonna stand and say that this is too predictable.
Café de Flore (2011)
a must see movie
this is amazingly beautiful movie. The plot, cinematography, editing are so amazing.
This movie is also successfully influence me about the message; connection between past and present life. well, it depends on everyone's belief but through this movie it made me think again about life. And wondering what my past life looked like with the way i am right now. Very great idea of story.
what i like about the story the most is, it wasn't predictable. so this movie made me just sit, silence, and watch until the end.
Seriously, this is a must see movie!!!! This won't waste your time
Gone (2012)
need more thrill
this is entertaining and from the very beginning it was encouraging me to see more. The video showed beautiful camera work as well.
Unfortunately, i was hoping that the fighting part would be thrilling. It wasn't. the bad guy was easily to be defeated. I was hoping it could be more scary because when Jule was already in the forest park at night and Molly escaped, i thought Jule and the bad guy would fight till the last blood. In the early part, it showed that Jule was practicing martial art. I thought that scene would give me a clue to the fighting part, that the fighting part would be awesome between jule and the bad guy.
Plus the clue she found i don't think the clue was clever enough to tell about the kidnapper;the duck tape.
To me... this is nice movie
Imagine Me & You (2005)
need more length
well... i just watched it yesterday. and i think this need more length. i mean, the process of creating the chemistry between them need to be shown more frequent unless it was started since earlier in the movie. because i didn't feel more chemistry between Rachel and Luce. It is okay that Luce has shown it from the very first time. What about Rachel? Need more reasonable scenes to tell me that Rachel really felt something about Luce. Because i feel like Rachel is totally insane that she left her husband just for her new friend or acquaintance (maybe the time lapse of their relationship wasn't shown or need not to be shown in the movie, but the audience need the chemistry), it is shown when Rachel's father told her to follow her heart.
after all is a nice movie. nice tone and funny story
Last Night (2010)
What a Line
My favorite part of this movie is the dialog. Although this movie contains long dialog, however the dialog is very interesting. Many movie with long dialog but Last Night is the best. Not a boring dialog. Especially when Joanna and Michael had a fight after party, about Joanna accusing Michael like Eva Mendez's character. Another great long dialog is when Alex and Joanna was sitting in the sofa and drinking Martini. Through the dialog, audience know about their life story. So audience isn't confused.
Great choice of the character. Keira and Michael make a good pair.
One of my favorite movie to watch over and over again
