Adrien Brody is exceptional in this deserving of award win back then, truly remarkable man! So much somberness, tragedy, above all the music is spectacular and great historical drama I would've been terrified to live in the era that everything occurred in. I prefer the peaceful bits the most plenty of charm packed in this into the Roman Polanski experience even though there's a lot of horrendous moments. Crazy how Adrien Brody was around 29 during this, I like how he's had a range of genre roles in drama, comedy and thrillers now he's about 52 ish with Brutalist being praised it's all wonderful; I wish I could be famous!
Adrien Brody deserves the awards for his towering riveting performance in this and and many other roles! Brady Corbet is magnificent for this I only knew of him from Funny Games remake 2007 that movie is awesome as well. I had a fireball drink during the movie that was pretty good too gave me a nice buzz, was nice to have an intermission in between. I would almost Brutalist a 10 I just think it's a bit slow at times but the bulk of it is a 9.5 worthy of any praise especially for music holy cow so good and cinematography is so beautiful! Hopefully plenty appreciate great cinema like this no matter what.
I previously watched Julie Garner in Wolf Man so I figured I'd watch this on Hulu it's a nice Australian type with a lot of a drinking and a bit of a thriller. A couple travelers spend time working at a royal hotel basically a pub which is nice for the most part. I was interested in this a couple years ago it's a little slow but quite enjoyable not a lot to say about the film, it's cozy, charming, intriguing, and kinda unsettling. Fairly dark for a movie about a bar deserves better though it's a great experience a bit captivating; I'm glad Julie has started doing thrillers she's perfect for the genre!
