Brats (2024)
I wanted to like it
As a GenXer I really was hoping for the best
This was not it
The show is a very long version of Andrew McCarthy whining
Disappointed that there was not more of a collaborative effort with all of the stars
Could have been great
A discussion or panel wth questions and an answer from each, next time
Missing in this project: James Spader and Robert Downey Jr.
It didn't feel very well thought out
I had second hand embarrassed every time he was met with a voice-mail when no one wanted to talk to him
Project could have waited for everyone to participate
Their lives were not bad
They've all had some level of success
I don't recommend.
Night Court (2023)
Okay not great
Was looking forward to this team up of Melissa and John
It's good, not great
I am not a fan of the person who plays the prosecutor, the acting feels forced and not funny
The rest of the cast does a great job.
The weekly round up of 'defendants' adds to the humor.
Melissa's delivery is hilarious
John is perfect as usual.
Unlikely this show will get renewed unless cast changes are made
(no apologies that the vibe isn't there with some of them)
The bailiff gives the one liners and often is center to the show, love it
This show is a filler until Quantum Leap comes on, making it does the job
Hopeful.
Big Brother (2000)
Expect the Meddling
There's something awry when the whole house turns on one HG: Kyle
He did nothing wrong in his naivety and youth.
It was not Brittany or Michael's job to protect him.
Convinced that production spoke to each HG and swayed their decisions.
They could have linked together and gotten our an actual HG that was playing a strategic game. IE: Turner
Michael played an amazing game.
Michael Bruner should be proud of the achievements and being a strong player.
I love the show.
Every year I watch with family.
I will vote for AFP for someone who played well - no floaters, no showmances.
At this point, I hope Turner wins the money and Michael gets AFP.
60 Days In (2016)
Okay but not great
2022 season is not great
The 'inmates' ( participants ) are locked down 23/1 for 14 days - in covid quarantine
Horrible from the production crew and the sheriff to agree to the maltreatment of these folks
Hard to watch as it's not necessary to treat these people so poorly
Quarantine was and has never been 14 days for COVID protocol.
Evil (2019)
The kids ruin this once great show
Great promise for well thought out story lines. Only to be ruined by bickering, loud, yammering kids in each episode. It was looking up when the grandmother got kicked out of the garage finally. Kill off that character already. Giving this show another chance. Dropped to a 2 star rating for the overuse of the children. The troll grandmother had hit to go.
Welcome to Flatch (2022)
Clever Little Show
Sean William Scott and the ensemble cast are funny and sweet in this mockumentary. The only character I'm not 'in-like' with is Kelly. Better in the second episode.
9-1-1: Lone Star (2020)
Jumped the Shark
This show has such great a actors and story lines. The potential has been there, it is there. But, the show jumped the shark with character T. K. and his addiction and the flight with his dad. He was seeing his dead mom? Or was he? I had to back up the recording and re-watch to try to figure out what's going on. The episode is disjointed and hard to follow. Is she alive?
The Endgame (2022)
Exciting and Intriguing
Absolutely can't wait for the next episode as soon as one ends. She's diabolical and dangerous and I love her.
Nothing on television like this now.
Hopefully this gets renewed.
Can't wait to see how this ends.
Walker (2021)
Jared's facial reactions make this weird
I used to like this show. It's so overacted with stunted dialog. It'd be a great dramedy. Jared P. Has the strangest way of using his face to convey every emotion. It's painful to watch.
Stay Close (2021)
Cush Jumbo can do no wrong - Stellar series
I was roped in by the trailer. Very intriguing. I read Harlan Coben's books and enjoy them. However, the movies and series often fail to deliver. I was pleased that this was exciting and full of drama. 10/10 totally recommend.
The Power of the Dog (2021)
If you need a nap, this is good to sleep through
Boring. Hard to like. I love all the actors in this so it's disappointing to watch this slow grind of a movie. Just not worth it unless you want to sleep.
The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (2021)
Picture is small, hard to watch
Wish I could say I got to enjoy this film. The way it was shot makes in hard to watch.
The picture doesn't fill up the screen.
Unsure if this was on purpose, if so - very unnecessary.
S.W.A.T. (2017)
Okay not great, used to be awesome
Ever since CBS moved this show from Thursday to Friday and now Sunday the show lacks luster. Alex Russell and the guy who plays Deacon are enjoyable to watch Shemar Moore stars. The show started great but has been relegated to senior citizen viewing. Losing their steam and audience. Shame on CBS for not having faith.
Colin in Black and White (2021)
Glad I watched and Really listened ⭐
Grateful for this opportunity to learn a plethora of black history in America. The information is interesting and interwoven throughout the story. There's just 6 episodes. From his early life as a kid. Good to know and understand more about the man. I would like to know more. Colin works with several charities and gives of his time. I want to know what he's up to now.
The Big Leap (2021)
Drawn into this show in the first minute
Fast paced, clever, and fun to watch.
Interesting characters and cool plot lines that I want see through many more weeks.
I love dance and music shows, this show deserves a chance.
Our Kind of People (2021)
A bit messy and I like it like that
Girl got me at the keying the car. I knew right there, I'm in. Not sure what ride but I'm ready. Beautiful men, women, and scenery. I love anything that Alexa Rachelle Jennings graces the screen in, I really hope to see her more. Although it seems the role is a memory.
I love the clothes too!
Maid (2021)
Predictable self loathing female lead
Difficult to like this series for so many reasons. The only character that's likable is the male lead that's emotionally abusive and an alcoholic. Oh, and the child. She's great. Andy McDowell overacts and it's horrible to make a mockery of those with serious mental illness.
The female lead has zero redeeming qualities. None.
CBS Mornings (2021)
Great Changes
Love the cast. Nate, Gale, and Tony are awesome. Entertaining, enthusiastic, and charming. The set and show colors are pleasing. Wish the music was different. Leave the horns for Sunday morning.
NCIS: Hawai'i (2021)
Love the show, do better for Kai
Why the bad writing for Kai? And Jason Antoon deserves so much more. He's a gem and if he's in a show it's definitely good. See also: Claws
The show has potential. Stop with the love stories. Straight out gay... stick to a good story.
The Kai character is sad and shouldn't be.
Tell Me Your Secrets (2021)
So many secrets, must watch
Glad I found this gem. Worth binge watching. Angst and the lies are flowing.
Cruel Summer (2021)
Vague and not that great
Is Freeform purposely Vague Booking this show. Are we supposed to guess what happened?
Not enough to keep my interest.
If I needed a show that did this back and forth from the past to the current day in 1996 - I would watch reruns of How To Get Away With Murder.
At least their was Viola Davis.
Without a premise, is hard to follow.
Storage Wars (2010)
Brandy ruins the show, where's Barry?
This show used to be entertaining, interesting, and fun. Now it's bitter Brandy. Brandy and Jarrod aren't together - over 2 years now. Yet she's got this salty attitude when they both shop lockers at the same location.
Perhaps this is in purpose?
If so, having these 2 bicker and call each other names isn't giving this show a watchable factor.
Where's Barry Weiss when you need him?
For Life (2020)
Gripping and entertaining
Each week there's a new case while still focusing on what the show's about - the lead character. Great premise.
SEAL Team (2017)
Boring and repetitive
Stale, boring, repetitive. I tried several times to watch and like this show. I just can't. It's like watching grown men act out teen angst.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Not Consistent
Is this set in the 80's or not? Hard to tell with the inconsistent set and costumes. Disposable coffee cups like those at a gas station or Starbucks weren't around in that era. Kristen Wiig shines as always.
