eTalk Daily (2002)
Low Rent ET
It was just a low rent version of ET.
Now, the script writing is juvenile.
They try so hard to be woke, it's literally not even funny anymore.
It's like they are trying to make fun of a magazine type show, but they are serious. This is their product.
I see why Ben left.
Unwatchable.
Call Me Kat (2021)
Yikes
Unwatchable dinner theatre quality show.
One dimensional characters.
No charm.
Pretty amazing it was renewed.
I guess the cast's families letter writing campaign worked.
The Revenant (2015)
Yikes
Terrible.
I found myself cheering for the bear.
I guess if you're a fan of Leo, you'll love anything he's in.
Otherwise, find something better to do with 2 and a half hours of free time...
Impractical Jokers (2011)
Terrible
I could not get drunk enough or high enough to find this show funny.
It's loud, obnoxious, and childish.
If you might enjoy hanging out in a dive bar in Queens on a Monday night, this show is for you.
If you're an adult, pass on it.
Jann (2019)
Better Than I Expected
I didn't want to like it.
But, I did.
Jann Arden is funny.
She's really funny.
The show is quirky.
The characters remind me of Letter Kenny and Corner Gas.
That's it.
I am a fan.
Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021)
Excellent
This is one of the best written shows on TV.
Good story telling. Not afraid to kill off characters.
It's like watching a long movie. A lot like
watching the Sopranos.
Private Eyes: The Proof is Out There (2020)
X Files-ish
Fun episode.
Reminiscent of old timey 'the truth is out there shows'.
Well done.
Hudson & Rex (2019)
Lamest Writing
In one episode a girl is locked in a condo. It's under construction with tools and lumber everywhere. She could have just broken a window and escaped. But, nope. Too easy.
Another episode has deadly viruses. The deadliest. Are they in a bunker? No
Are they even in a negative pressure room? Hell no. Just a regular building WITH A WINDOW! Never in a million years would a lab be allowed to operate like that.
Another one featured electromagnetic pulses. Which in reality are invisible to the naked eye but the writers made them look like lightening.
Eyerolls dominate every episode so far. My friends and our kids watch the show because there's "a puppy".
That's the only thing saving the show.
Fear the Walking Dead: ...I Lose Myself (2018)
Terrible Writing
So, much wrong on the final episodes of the season.
Sure, I can suspend my common sense to accept zombies. That's part of the fun of the show.
BUT, poisoning by antifreeze in bottles of water?
There is no antifreeze in existence that people wouldn't be able to taste mixed in water at a high enough level to sicken or kill.
The flash point of ethanol is low enough that shooting the tanker would have resulted in a fire.
Even though it didn't ignite, why didn't they fill their container when it was running out through the bullet holes?
The previous episode had an escape with a ladder truck. For some reason, they didn't use the boom to make it to their armoured car 30 feet away?
Just. Bad. Writing.
They'll lose all the viewers they got back this season if this stupidity continues.
