The subject matter is just downright scary to imagine and I truly feel for the people who put their trust in a doctor who ended up being a butcher. Reading about everything he did to his patients was unbelievable. More unbelievable was that fact the he was allowed to keep performing surgeries because of all the red tape. On another note, Christian Slater just keeps getting better in his craft as an actor. He stole the show!
Great show and I'm so bummed how quickly I got through the 8 episodes. I want MORE! It's nice to see the male equivalents of Grace and Frankie and their perspective. Alan Arkin is such a lovable curmudgeon and the chemistry between his and Michael Douglas' character creates such a funny balance. There were quite a few laugh-out-loud moments in each of the 8 episodes. Please, please don't wait too long to create more episodes!!!!!!!!!!!
Watching Episode 1, I wasn't sure I was going to finish watching it. I thought Mom was a bit abrupt with the kids but the more I watched I realized she really did have a heart and I just needed to find it. Timmy is adorable and I just want to smack Frank. I really think there's more of a story for Eddie and I can't wait for that. My family wasn't even close to being this big but my parents were just as sensible as this Mom and Dad are and I'm loving that it takes place in the 70s which was the best time, if you ask me. One thing was driving me crazy watching the first 3 episodes and I was finding myself looking for Michael Cruditz's mole. I thought for sure he had one. I'm so glad he decided to have it removed. He looks so much better now!
