Really it's 6-1/2 if truth be told, but not sarcastically. I am a "sucker" for action/fantasy and though this has those disjointed over the top fantasy sequences it still works because this is after all an asylum and the protagonist has been tortured by events past and now present into forsaking reality. She does the best she can while immersing us with stunning visuals and and a good soundtrack. It even starts to make sense from an unreal point of view; and that reality distancing style of Zack Snyder's animation helps. Despite it's obvious commercial taint, I liked it!

Recommended for gamers, action/fantasy appetites and sexy kick-ass character lovers.

Believable character. Lackluster plot. His finest performance since Twilight Zone's "Miniature"; so a notable yet lesser known addition to an understated career that.finally gained much deserved recognition and popular appeal. Watch it for Duvall's superb performance; gritty realism, not much else.
