Manchester, North of England, 1975. As the Khan family continues to struggle for survival, Sajid, the runt of the litter, is deep in pubescent crisis. To sort him out, his father sends him to see the wife and daughters he abandoned 35 years earlier in the Punjab. It is not long before his mother and her entourage arrive to sort out the past and present.
