Resident widow Pearl Shay leans out the window of her ground floor apartment dishing dirt and hurling zingers at the tenants of 227. As reimagined by HBO's "A Black Lady Sketch Show," the iconic '80s sit com produced by Marla Gibbs (whom Daniele met while doing an impression of her on "The Rerun Show"), takes place in the present day. Much of the cast appeared in an improvised stage show called "227: The Lost Episodes" at Second City Hollywood.
