The Arlington Independent School District offers an outstanding, well-rounded educational experience with award-winning academic and nationally recognized extracurricular programs. With nearly 60,000 enrolled students, the Arlington ISD is the 11th largest school district in Texas. The AISD has a total of 77 schools - 12 high schools (six regular, six alternative), 10 junior high schools and 55 elementary schools (54 regular, one prekindergarten). The district is the largest employer in Arlington and the third-largest employer in Tarrant County with more than 8,500 administrators, teachers and support staff.
