"We confirmed our outlook for this year. The really important part for us is, of course, profitability, too. It is actually quite a big step from 5.1% to 6.0%. #Q3 financial results: Bilfinger continues successful business development and significantly increases profitability We are happy to share our financial results for the third quarter of 2024, showing significant increase in orders received and EBITA margin as well as the successful stabilization of our free cash flow over the course of the year.   In line with our Group Strategy, we see a continued strong demand for solutions to improve #efficiency and #sustainability. We carried on implementing our strategy based on a stable to positive development across all markets as well as an increasing demand for outsourcing. The integration of the business acquired on April 1 is progressing according to plan and further strengthens our positioning. V., issues a scorecard to rate the quality of the governance systems of the companies listed in the #DAX stock index. In the recently published ranking, we have further improved our rating, now ranking #third in the MDAX. 🎉 The #DVFA scorecard assesses a company's corporate #sustainability based on environmental, social and governance aspects - taking shareholder-friendly relations with investors, responsible behavior by the Executive Board and Supervisory Board, and the public transparency of internal corporate governance rules into account. 🤝 We're incredibly proud to meet 83.14% of the requirements based on the German Corporate Governance Code, which puts us into the top 20❕ 🚀 of all 160 stock companies listed on DAX, MDAX and SDAX.

Bilfinger is part of an exciting development on the #energy #transition journey! 👀    Aalborg Forsyning in Denmark is about to replace its coal-fired power plant with four innovative seawater heat pumps from MAN Energy Solutions. They’re the world’s largest of its kind and use #renewable energies to transform seawater from the close-by fjord into a #sustainable heat source. 🌊🌡 The heated water is later-on fed into the district heating grid, supplying households in the city. 🏠     After the integration of the first three units, Bilfinger Region DACH was now also commissioned as a solution partner for the #engineering and integration of the mechanical systems of the fourth heat pump. 🤝 The new plant is expected to be fully operational by 🗓 2027, significantly reducing Aalborg’s CO2 emissions by up to 210,000 tons annually. 🎯    👉 Eager to learn more? It’s a wrap!✔ SPRINT Robotics World Conference 2024 is in the books – and, once again, we were excited to be a part of it. 🤖🎉 Our colleagues Oksana Roman, Trond Fludal, Dave Hall, Andreas Pfau, Jan Arts, Albert-Jan Elzinga and Max Stang (in the photo 📷👇 from left to right) were joining the conference in Antwerp, Belgium in the last two days, taking the opportunity to discuss the latest advancements in #Robotics and #Digitalization for #inspection and #maintenance. 💡💬 As a member of the #SPRINTRobotics initiative, Bilfinger is committed to staying at the forefront of these advancements to provide our customers with the most #innovative and #efficient solutions. Thanks to a unique cooperation between industry and municipal utilities, the German city of Düsseldorf is making a forward-looking move towards #sustainable district heating 🌱🔋 – and we’re excited to be partnering. 💪    Bilfinger has been contracted as comprehensive solution partner by Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG to turn their vision of a new energy center into reality: Located on Henkel’s local production site, the energy center will process industrial waste heat from the Henkel power plant and feed it into Düsseldorf’s district heating grid. 🌡🔄 The energetic use of waste heat is highly #efficient and #sustainable, reducing the city’s annual CO2 emissions by 6,500 tons. 🚀 Making sure our #YoungTalents are off to a flying start     In our different regions at Bilfinger, we've got various #mentoring and #onboarding programs to help our newcomers to a successful start. Engaging workshops and collaborative events regularly provide our young talents with opportunities to learn, grow and connect: Whether by learning from experienced colleagues, extending their professional network or participating in activities that foster #teamwork. Here's two representative examples of what these programs at Bilfinger can look like:   1️⃣ Very recently, we brought together 72 apprentices from 15 locations in Bilfinger Region DACH for our annual #apprenticeship event, this year taking place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The event was a remarkable success, providing the ideal platform to ✅ make new connections with other apprentices from various fields ✅ get an overview over Bilfinger's diverse operations and – last but not least – ✅ strengthen the team spirit in activities like indoor soccer and laser tag. 2️⃣ Only a few weeks ago, Bilfinger Nuclear & Energy Transition hosted their third mentoring program, which actively connects experienced colleagues (mentors) with young talents (mentees) to talk about individual #career goals and opportunities for development. 💬 The aim is to provide our mentees with hands-on advice and feedback – and typically it's not only the mentees that end the day feeling inspired. 💡✨
