Since 2018, the BSH team has taken part in a unique Home Depot Foundation event that is one part planning for the future and one part giving back to those in need. This annual charity event — which was held in Miami this year — is led by Home Depot’s leadership and merchandising teams and features ample opportunity for Bosch team members to mingle with industry peers and engage in fun networking and team-building activities. The event builds in time for attendees to give back to the local veteran community and take part in other initiatives focused on disaster relief and other philanthropic causes. #HomeDepotFoundation #BSH

Thermador and Western Living hosted more than 80 designers and architects at the BSH Vancouver Showroom (Luxe Appliance Studio) for a special culinary experience and lively design discussion. The event featured a panel discussion themed "Creating Beautiful, Functional Spaces” that was led by Kelly Reynolds and Chad Falkenberg pictured with Anicka Quin, Editorial Director of Western Living magazine. Panelists touched on a variety of trending topics and shared insight on the role of home appliances in creating beautiful yet purposeful spaces. #BSHVancouverShowroom #Thermador #BSH

Our new Vancouver BC showroom was the backdrop for a culinary event supporting Buy BC, a British Columbia initiative that promotes BC food and beverage products and helps consumers choose products that support local farmers and businesses. With a focus on freshness and sustainability, Chef Ned Bell, a Buy BC ambassador, created a menu based on ingredients from local farmers and prepared menu items on Thermador appliances. Chef Bell also used the showroom as a backdrop for promotional TV segments and a photoshoot for Georgia Straight magazine. #BuyBC #BSH

BSH is proud to welcome Darcy Clarkson, as CEO of Region North America, overseeing Gaggenau, Thermador, and Bosch branded kitchen appliances. Darcy brings extensive experience as a global consumer technology executive.  Darcy joins BSH having served as Senior VP and GM, Appliances (Consumer and BTB) at Keurig Dr. Pepper, and Senior VP, Consumer and eCommerce at Poly (formerly Polycom, Inc.). He most recently held the role of Chief Commercial Officer at technology and IoT company Nanoleaf, and was also Senior VP and GM, Consumer, at Jabra Corporation. Additionally, he held numerous leadership positions at Seagate Technology, LLC, and Lexmark International, Inc. Darcy is responsible for driving the company’s growth and managing business operations. He joins CFO Jesús Egido Roldán and Chief Technology Officer Andrew MacLaren on the BSH Region North America Board of Management team. We welcome, Darcy to #TeamBSH!

Earlier this year, the East Carolina University (ECU) Bus Tour stopped at the BSH Home Appliances main campus in New Bern, NC, where approximately 40 ECU faculty and staff where provided an immersive experience in home appliance manufacturing, including cooking and dishwasher manufacturing, appliance quality testing, and hands-on kitchen appliance demonstrations. The visit provided ECU faculty and staff with insights into the needs, challenges, and assets of manufacturing in North Carolina, impacting their personal and professional development. This interaction will help shape ECU research and coursework to better serve the community's needs. The Purple and Gold Bus Tour takes place annually (since 2018) during ECU’s spring break. The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers presented prestigious awards to two BSH associates at the annual AHAM meeting held earlier this month. Veteran BSH associate Steve Church, RNA Compliance Engineer, received the Gordon Stauffer Liston Durden Distinguished Service Award. In addition to recognizing members for sustained contributions, AHAM also identifies rising stars as part of developing the next generation of leaders. This year, RNA Compliance Engineer, Geoffrey Pfeiffer, received the Emerging Leader Award for his dedicated service to the association. BSH has worked with AHAM over many years and appreciates those associates, like Steve and Geoff, who work with AHAM to help bring efficient, high-performing home appliances into the homes of consumers in the United States, Canada and around the world.

Gaggenau returned to the Villa Necchi Campiglio this year to showcase its innovations and design breakthroughs to over 360,000 Milan Design Week 2024 attendees. The theme was “The Elevation of Gravity." The highlight of the event was a Gaggenau kitchen that appeared starkly minimalist but held unique and seamlessly integrated creative details – what Gaggenau Head of Global Design Sven Baacke refers to as “shy tech.” Gaggenau also debuted their new generation of cooling appliances, setting the new standard for both aesthetic design and performance. From the“floating” dining table to deftly hidden appliances, the presentation brought the week’s theme to life and left Milan Design Week 2024 attendees in awe. #Gaggenau #MilanDesignWeek

Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of the corporate culture at #bshteam Canada, and we are delighted to celebrate two years of partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. During this partnership, we have donated 165 Bosch appliances to 6 RMHC chapters, totaling over $365,000 worth of appliances in 2022-2023. This contribution has resulted in the preparation of 434,680 delicious and healthy meals for families using Bosch appliances. Additionally, Bosch washers have facilitated 495,753 loads of laundry in Houses & Family Rooms across Canada in 2023. Wendy Galagan, CEO of RMHC Manitoba, expresses her gratitude, stating, "Everyday, at every meal, families see and feel the kindness and support of BOSCH. We are deeply grateful for their meaningful and generous support.” It's truly heartening to witness the positive impact of our partnership on families in need, and we remain committed to continuing our charitable efforts.
