CAMS Operated Conemaugh Generating Station: Dedication to the Community   Supporting our community through service is a fundamental value, reflecting our commitment to making a meaningful difference. At Conemaugh Generating Station in New Florence, Pennsylvania, operated by CAMS, this 1,852 MW coal-fired power plant has a long-standing tradition of community involvement. This past winter, employees Mickey Wyman, Victoria Smothers, Brad Nicely, Mike Petrovich, and Joe Kushner volunteered with the Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP) at a local food pantry. They filled boxes with donated food items, loaded them into cars, and prepared bulk deliveries to local food banks. CAMS Operated CPV St Charles Energy Center: Commitment to Community Service Community service is at the heart of our operations, reflecting our dedication to giving back and making a positive impact. At CPV St Charles Energy Center in Waldorf, Maryland, community involvement is central to our mission. Operated by CAMS, our facility recently hosted 14 Cub Scouts from Pack 423, led by O&M Technician Javier Gonzalez. Compliance Specialist Lauren Sparks and Engineer Jacob Boyd guided the Scouts through a plant tour, safety orientation, and a hands-on project building a Theremin, helping them earn their Engineering Activity Badge. The day concluded with a Q&A session and a treat from Kona Ice. This visit is just one example of how CPV St Charles, operated by CAMS, actively engages with and supports our community.
