About us
As an industry association founded in 1997, EEMBC develops benchmarks to help system designers select the optimal processors and understand the performance and energy characteristics of their systems. EEMBC Benchmark Categories: * IoT - For microcontroller+RF components performing communication protocols (e.g. BlueTooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, LoRA). * Security - Measures the performance, energy, and memory impact of implementing security in an IoT device. * Heterogeneous Compute - Addresses performance requirements for applications such as autonomous driving and mobile imaging. * ULP - Benchmarks for ultra-low power microcontrollers * Processor - Including CoreMark, MultiBench (for multicore), FPMark (floating-point), and AutoBench (automotive) EEMBC members include Ambiq Micro, Analog Devices, ARM, Atmel, C-Sky, Cypress, Dell, Flex, ETA Compute, Green Hills, Huawei, IAR, Imagination Tech, Intel, Microchip, Nokia Networks, Nordic Semi, NVIDIA, NXP, Realtek, Renesas, Samsung, Silicon Labs, Somnium Tech, Sony, STMicroelectronics, Synopsys, Texas Instruments, Wind River. EEMBC President: Peter Torelli Working Group Chairs: Machine Learning: Ramesh Jaladi (Intel) IoT - Mark Wallis (STMicro), Craig Giglio (Silicon Labs) Security - Ruud Derwig, Mike Borza (Synopsys) Heterogeneous Compute - Rafal Malewski (NXP) ULP - Monica Redon (Analog)
