Meet Diogo Amorim Vieira, Senior Strategic Wholesale and Franchise at KARL LAGERFELD. Originally from Portugal, Diogo’s multifaceted career path has been guided by Karl Lagerfeld’s own words: “What I love best in life is new starts.” He joined the company in 2023 as an international visual merchandiser, and after two years, embraced a new challenge in the sales team. “It’s given me the opportunity to redirect my career path, challenge myself, and gain a much deeper understanding of the business beyond just one perspective,” he says. In his current role, Diogo drives franchise and wholesale performance — from sell-in to sell-out — by leveraging data, customer insights and market intelligence. He helps optimize product rotation and store layouts to maximize sales, ensure efficient stock and enhance the in-store customer experience. As a key link between internal teams and external partners, he especially values the opportunity to work with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures and nationalities — he’s visited over 50 countries as part of his job! Inspiring the next generation of fashion leaders. KARL LAGERFELD’s Amsterdam headquarters recently welcomed 35 business students from the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business for an immersive look inside the fashion industry. Designed to give students a deeper understanding of the commercial foundations of the business, the program featured workshops on licensing strategies, global partnerships, digital innovation and sustainability. Alongside a showroom tour, students explored the creative journey from concept to collection and discovered how design, marketing and merchandising teams collaborate. “Sharing knowledge, experience and exchanging ideas with students who will shape the industry is truly inspiring,” said Nico Scarsini, Senior Licensing Manager, who led the day’s program. This marks the second consecutive year Maison KARL LAGERFELD has welcomed students from around the world, in partnership with Austral Group. KARL LAGERFELD and AARK DEVELOPERS LLC have joined forces to create KARL LAGERFELD Residences, a landmark beachfront development on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. Valued at over USD 1.4 billion, the project is set to redefine modern beachfront living in the UAE. It will feature 663 sea-view residences, including villas and penthouses with private pools, designed to express Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic aesthetic through architecture and living. More than a destination, this project reflects KARL LAGERFELD’s belief that great design can shape how people live and feel. It brings the Maison universe to life on an entirely new scale, blending creativity and vision together for enduring elegance. As KARL LAGERFELD’s second branded project in the Middle East, the development with Rahul Kumar Gupta, Chairman of AARK Developers, marks another step in the Maison’s global expansion into hospitality and residential design. Yesterday, the Maison celebrated the launch of KARL LAGERFELD Residences Lisboa in Paris, marking an exciting new chapter in our residential portfolio. Developed in partnership with OVERSEAS, the renowned Portuguese developer, KARL LAGERFELD Residences Lisboa is the first branded residential project in Lisbon and set to be completed in 2028. Situated in one of Lisbon’s most elegant districts, just steps from Avenida da Liberdade, the project features ten exclusive apartments with spacious, versatile living areas, premium finishes, and state-of-the-art technology. “Karl believed great design should be lived in, not just admired,” says KARL LAGERFELD CEO Pier Paolo Righi. “With every residence, our aim is to create a place that feels personal and true to Karl’s world.
