This past month has been full of community and celebration! Team MWA has been making their way through this wonderful season of events. Northwest Housing Alternatives Home Sweet Home event rallied #AffordableHousing advocates to support residents. The Swinerton and Timberlab Open House celebrated national mass timber projects that are creating a more #sustainable construction industry. MWA's annual mini golf and ping pong tournaments brought our team together for a little less #work and a lot more #play. Thank you to all who joined in on the fun!

Project Update: Arts Plaza Apartments is in the final stages of #construction! MWA staff is on-site weekly for punch listing and site walks, excitedly watching the final touches come to life. Some recently completed details include the brick latticework that divides the parking from the street and the mural on the west side of the building. The Wonderfolk Unity Through Arts Program created this #mural in collaboration with WESI murals. It is a metaphor for young people in a well-rounded #community, ready to grow together and excel. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's Southeast Plant Biosolids Digester Facilities project is currently #UnderConstruction and officially taking shape. This project includes a complete upgrade or replacement of the solids handling processes at the plant. The processes addressed include solids thickening, solids #dewatering, odor control, and, most notably - anaerobic digestion facilities. The goal is to improve the plant and provide tangible benefits and amenities to the #community. The #architectural aesthetic will relate to and transition between the #industrial and #residential characteristics of the surrounding neighborhood.
