The Novolex sustainability commitment is unwavering. In 2023, we continued implementing steps that ushered us toward our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target and launched a program across manufacturing facilities to use energy more efficiently. We were excited to be recognized for these efforts by Sustainability Leaders, which selected Novolex as a finalist for its Sustainable Finance Initiative Award. Safety is a top priority across our 56 global manufacturing facilities, and we would like to spotlight the excellence of our Reno, NV paper packaging plant. There, Plant Manager John Potts champions the Human Performance (HP) model – all managers, supervisors, and leadership team members having completed and earned gold seals in the HP Champions course and hourly team members earning silver seals for completing the entry-level course. The plant conducts daily safety meetings, routine training, and innovative “field trips,” where team members act out risk scenarios to identify hazards and improve processes. We’re proud of our Reno team’s dedication and excited for continued progress in safety excellence! #NationalManufacturingMonth2024 #MFGDay24
