The latest edition of Ron Miller's "FastForward" newsletter explored the estimated $420B worth of investment in data center buildouts for 2025 as some of the biggest tech companies look to capitalize on the generative AI revolution. All that investment could mean a massive boom for the construction industry - but only if they escape the fundamental challenges that any large-scale project presents, starting with bid submittal all the way through permitting, procuring labor and supplies, certifications to final hand-offs. These projects are huge undertakings that can be undermined if you can't connect project data to stay ahead of project delays and control budgets, tracking every detail across teams, timelines, and project workflows - with efficiency, productivity, and safety as the priorities.
