#SXSWEDU 2025, you were out of this world! 🚀 This year, we embraced the spirit of space exploration, because forging your own path—whether in education, career, or life—is a lot like venturing into the unknown, and there’s a whole universe of potential to explore! We took up space (literally and figuratively!) with three powerful panels: ⭐ “Learning from Learners’ Perspectives on Postsecondary Value” where we elevated student voices and explored the real impact of education. ⭐ “Young People Want to Change the World—Here's How We Can Help” where we discussed how we can support young changemakers as they turn their visions into a reality. ⭐ “Behind the Wheel: Youth Driving Tech & Media” where we highlighted the next generation of storytellers and innovators shaping the digital world. On the floor, our green RV, Carl, made his presence known—and we had a ton of different activities encouraging people to share a timeless piece of career advice in our Time Capsule! We also conducted 13 stellar leader interview with folks from The Obama Foundation, Stand Together Trust, Minecraft Education, and more! We brought back our annual afterparty at The White Horse, where nearly 100 attendees joined us for a two-step and enjoyed live music—and we hosted our first SXSW EDU partner dinner at the Buenos Aires Cafe! From inspiring conversations to new connections, this experience reminded us all to shoot for the stars, explore fearlessly, and embrace the unknown. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined our panels, or simply shared their energy with us. And to our incredible Roadtrip Nation team—you make magic happen. 💚 Thanks for having us, SXSW EDU! #RoadtripNation #FutureOfLearning
About us
Roadtrip Nation creates and distributes best-in-class career exploration content, products, and experiences to help individuals pursue fulfilling careers based on what’s important to them. We’re one part media company, one part career education platform, and one hundred percent mission-driven. We believe there’s power in doing work that’s true to who you are. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to helping people explore career possibilities that connect to their interests. We seek out inspiring individuals who’ve built lives around what they love, then share their stories in award-winning documentaries on public television and an online archive featuring thousands of conversations about struggle and success. We also provide a process for how to navigate the career journey, with curriculums, career discovery resources, live events, and our New York Times best-selling career guide, Roadmap. Along the way, we have benefited from world-class partnerships with great brands, foundations, and people who are passionate about making change in the world. We took our first road trip in 2001, driven by the question of how to build a life doing what you love. The answers we found showed us that this was bigger than our journey alone. Since then, we’ve been driven by one mission: to create a movement of people empowered to define their own roads in life.
