  • We're thrilled to share that #SiemensXcelerator as a Service now supports Panasonic’s digital transformation of home appliance development. Our collaboration will achieve a large-scale implementation of Siemens Xcelerator as a Service with a cloud-based product lifecycle management solution, and aims to enhance Panasonic's enterprise value and drive digital transformation (DX) easier, faster and at scale by moving to a cloud-based implementation. Through this large-scale implementation of Teamcenter X software, a #SaaS cloud product lifecycle management solution from our Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, we're helping Panasonic integrate data management processes across product design and development, reduce lead times, and to support continuous, rapid market availability of the high quality products. By migrating legacy IT assets and traditional on-premise data management to the cloud, Panasonic aims to reduce IT infrastructure maintenance labor-hours and the total cost of ownership, enable rapidly deployed access to updated versions for the latest PLM functionality and IT infrastructure capabilities and access secure systems across locations in Japan and its locations around the world from a variety of device types and via remote access. https://sie.ag/4b9fgD

  • The Farnborough International Airshow serves as an excellent platform to connect with clients, explore the latest industry developments, and showcase our cutting-edge digital tools for the aerospace and defense division. Barry Chapman, our VP and GM of U.S. Industries, shared his thoughts on the event: “The Farnborough International Airshow has been absolutely wonderful. It provided an excellent opportunity to meet with clients, understand the latest developments in the aerospace and defense industry, and showcase how Siemens A&D digital threads benefit the global aerospace and defense sectors. We are providing the A&D industry and governments with solutions to enhance the design, manufacturing, and sustainment of their products. However, the best aspect of the show was the 100’s of face-to-face interaction with customers, partners, and the Siemens team.” #FIA2024 #Aerospace
