A few years ago, Cal and Kelly attended a Katalyst Foundation event — an organisation dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities of Vanua Levu, Fiji, established by KOOKAI Australia founder, robert cromb. We heard first hand how the only ambulance on the island broke down during COVID and there were no funds to fix it and how the life expectancy for Fijian's is avoidably sadly low. It stayed with us. While we've supported financially in the past, last week we gave our time: packing donations of books, school uniforms, medical supplies and dental equipment, much of which will assist orphaned children. A sincere thank you to Elizabeth Zamanis - Robinson and Sia. Your passion for the work of the foundation is admirable and contagious.
