According to the invention, the level of acoustic noise in the environment of a terminal (10, 12) and the level and noise level of a received signal are measured (123) and the level and/or dynamic range of the reproduced signal are adjusted (121, 122) according to the results from said measurements. The solution according to the invention helps reduce the effect of noise in the signal transmitted on the transmission channel (11) and of the acoustic noise in the environment of the terminal (12) on the intelligibility of the reproduced information.

Started with small, agile, hands-on trials with the Power BI Desktop (report creation) and Power BI Office 365 Cloud (report publishing and sharing). As a result of this work CYOD scheme was implemented at Fastems for employee smartphones and this was documented in the linked thesis. Scheme did not increase costs for the company but enabled employee to choose the smartphone he/she wanted.
