    Sapienza Università di Roma

    -

Thesis on the design of Microwave ICs and Spectral Domain analysis and simulation of mm-wave components.

All the numerical simulations were written in C++ by the author.

Presented findings at several international conferences and on scientific Journals

  • -

Simulation and design of 50-58 GHz / mm-Wave Integrated Circuits for Telecommunications and Satellite communications.
Part of the research activity was conducted at the European Space Agency's research centre in The Netherlands, where I spent a year also working on Space Systems design.

  • -

Dissertation on Market Structure for Telecommunications Broadband Residential Services.

Projects

  • Chalk

Chalk (https://crashoverride.com/docs/chalk/getting-started) is an observability tool that provides full lifecycle visibility into your development process by embedding "chalk marks" into the executable, container, or other artifact, as it gets generated (for example, via CI/CD).

  • Crossplane

    - Present

We built a PaaS layer on top of Crossplane (https://www.crossplane.io) to manage all our Google Cloud (GCP) resources via native Kubernetes CRDs.
The work is described here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyZ2YbWWgFQ) and is being patented by Cruise.

Mesos is a distributed application and resources scheduler for Cloud and Data Centers.

It is built using the same principles as the Linux kernel, only at a different level of abstraction. Mesos is a distributed application and resources scheduler for Cloud and Data Centers.

It is built using the same principles as the Linux kernel, only at a different level of abstraction. The Mesos kernel runs on every machine and provides applications (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elastic Search) with API’s for resource management and scheduling across entire datacenter and cloud environments.

Apache Mesos is currently used by hundreds of organizations to manage their distributed workloads: from Twitter and Apple, to Uber and AirBnb, to smaller startups, we all rely on Mesos' ability to scale to thousands of machines seamlessly (see http://mesos.apache.org/documentation/latest/powered-by-mesos for a -partial- list of adopters).
