“As I sit and think about what Nez means to me as a Professional Leader, I reflect back on when we first met. Strolling on LinkedIn, and he came across my screen. His approach and the first 15 seconds interested me; tough to do for a 50 yr old. I was in a rut at my job and wasn't feeling too marketable. I had pleather of experience, but let's face it; at 50, I should be winding down, right? HELL NO! I had an outdated resume that needed some robust crafting. Well, I tried, he was ridiculously responsive, and away we went. He crafted a modern resume showcasing my skillset and gave me some LinkedIn ideas for my profile. I secured promotion at my current job shortly after meeting with him with a nice new comp package. The hits I was getting on LinkedIn were coming in daily; nice to be desired. Along comes a shoulder tap from a network friend who had just secured a VP position and needed a Director of Sales. With Nez's crafting and some coaching, I connected to the position. What is more important is the coaching around negotiating the comp package. With the resume he crafted and how it showcased my skill set, as aforementioned, I could lean back on this piece of art done by Nez, and it was the pivot point to me securing 20% more base salary after countering than initially offered, AND they didn't widdle down the annual bonus structure. All else remained on the table. I am in AWE of his ability to relate to people virtually and take them from point A to point B in partnering with us to level us up.
