    This case study examined what kind of computer aided persuasive technolo- gy can support work planning and support work motivation among the employ- ees of Otava Folk High School. The study starts with a look at the general features of supporting motivational atmosphere through the framework of Self Determina- tion Theory. Inspiring and motivating atmosphere is considered the foundation for action, where persuasive technology can give more support for individuals and for a whole work community. This study examines the nature of knowledge work as well as the ongoing changes experienced in the management of organiza- tions, persuasive technology and how people tend to plan their work nowadays. The study included a survey which was carried out through an online ques- tionnaire addressed to the staff of Otava Folk High School.
