We're thrilled to extend an invitation for a talented individual to join us as an Actuarial Associate III on the RD Actuarial Financial Reporting team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in supporting our special project function, contributing significantly to various initiatives such as annual financial planning and analysis (FP&A), LDTI implementation, assumption updates, new product development, and process enhancements.
What You Will Do
Model Maintenance: Keep our Plan models up to date, consolidating new business and inforce forecasts to ensure timely and reasonable plan results. Collaborate closely with senior actuaries to conduct thorough Plan analysis.
LDTI Implementation Support: Play a crucial role in LDTI implementation by conducting model validations, testing new valuation processes, and working closely with the accounting team to produce ledger bookings and disclosure reports.
Assumption Update and Impact Analysis: Partner with the Experience study team for annual assumption updates. Prepare comprehensive reports for impact analysis and share valuable insights with external teams.
New Product Features Implementation: Actively participate in implementing new product features and enhancing existing model coding.
Process Modernization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within actuarial processes. Provide consultation and support for the implementation of these enhancements.

Compensation
Salary Range: $91,200 - $151,900, plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.
Who You Are
Do you have what it takes to excel in this role? Here's what we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong quantitative background, including college-level mathematics.
3 to 5 years of insurance-related actuarial experience.
Close to achieving ASA designation with 5 to 7 actuarial exams passed.
Proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
Sound understanding of insurance GAAP and Statutory accounting concepts, as well as company financials.
Experience with automation and process improvement.
Preferred experience with PolySystems and/or MG-ALFA, and familiarity with SQL or Python.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
