Job Title: Director of Human Resources

Work Location: St. Louis, MO

Work Location Type: Hybrid

Pay Range: $138,000- $198,000, plus bonus plan

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources who can partner to drive business success through attracting, leading, developing, and retaining talent who wants to transform our customers’ lives. This is a great entry point into BraunAbility, with the opportunity to grow into progressively complex HR leadership roles! This position reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, BraunAbility Retail – United Access.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a strategic business advisor to respective leaders in the areas of organizational design, organizational effectiveness, talent and performance management, talent acquisition, total rewards, workforce planning, change management, employee engagement, employee relations and leadership development.
  • Developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Developing and executing Talent Management plan aligned with business objectives including organizational design, succession planning, talent management, high potential identification and development and strategic talent acquisition.
  • Managing HR transactions like leave management, talent acquisition, workers compensation, compensation changes, etc in workday, and other vendor platforms.
  • Managing directly and indirectly an HR training and onboarding team at both manager and individual contributor levels.
  • Setting direction and leading strategy for the training and onboarding team.
  • Ensuring a fair and consistent interpretation and application of Company policies, practices, and procedures that create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Driving employee and organizational engagement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organization development, business, or related field required. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing HR responsibility.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role building and a leading team.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to create and drive strategic HR and key functional organization initiatives.
  • Experience coaching and advising senior executives on business-critical issues.
  • Must be a self-starter, experienced at dealing effectively with employees at all levels (i.e., from the shop floor to the C Suite), have excellent relationship/communication skills, and be a demonstrated team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively engage employees and leaders in creating a positive morale and culture
  • Initiates and engages with senior business leaders as a peer, confidante and coach.
  • Develops trust and credibility that leads to improved organizational effectiveness.
  • Adds significant value beyond his/her own functional area.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, personable and comfortable working closely with a diverse leadership team.
  • Highly self-aware listener who possesses emotional intelligence.
  • Thorough and detail oriented; ability to handle a wide range of issues varying in complexity.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, intellectual honesty and sound judgment.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
  • Candidates who reside in St. Louis are highly preferred.
