Senior Planner, Supply Planning

Job Summary

The S&OP brand supply planning team act as the “control tower” to maintain supply availability in support of the global unconstrained production plan (UPP). The supply planning team is responsible for maintaining key parameters, ensure overall supply continuity and directly control deployment of stock to key regional DCs in support of affiliate UPP. This role will focus on overseeing launches, point of sale merchandizing and managing the add/delete process from a supply planning perspective.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for inbound receipt plan for FG, optimizing to support business needs
  • Priority management: provide direction on major supply challenges and production bottleneck, minimize OOS, setting inventory targets and mitigation plans when levels deviate
  • Communicate key supply risks to internal stakeholders
  • Accountable for maintaining and managing master data required for finished good planning and production.
  • Develop and align on allocations for low stock or launch SKUs with key stakeholders
  • Implement and maintain inventory strategies for finished goods by regular review and optimization of supply planning parameters (Ex. Reorder points, safety stock, ABC categorization, MOQ)
  • Optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with target customer service levels, inventory, and safety stock levels for an allocated portfolio of SKUs for which accountable.
  • Conduct regular business and performance reviews related to demand and supply with international and domestic partners
  • Engage with global marketing and product development to ensure global discontinuation decisions align with supply chain & financial considerations
  • Facilitate execution of add/delete process

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 4-year academic degree in relevant field or related job experience
  • Major in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field a PLUS
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of planning experience in a supply chain role, ideally in supply, demand, or project management
  • 1-3 years of experience working within an ERP/MRP environment at an advanced level.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Functions and Linkage.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings to drive actions and accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely to peers and senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt in a highly collaborative environment, a team player, fit with brand and culture
  • Advanced excel skills: demonstrated ability to quickly manipulate large raw data sets to produce reporting that is intuitive and easy to use
