Underwriter (All levels) - Dependent on Experience

Job Summary

The Associate Underwriter will support the underwriting process by handling new business submissions, renewals, and mid-term endorsement requests while adhering to applicable statutory compliance, prescribed authority levels and Company guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year underwriting experience or equivalent Property & Casualty (P&C) experience
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
  • Current 4-40 Customer Service Representative License in good standing

Responsibilities

  • Review insurance applications and supporting documentation.
  • Handle policy change requests and executes follow-up action as needed.
  • Communicate with agents, clients, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
  • Maintain accurate and updated underwriting files and databases.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
