I help property businesses save time and reduce costs through a cost-effective virtual finance function 🏡💸
Many property management companies think that hiring an accountant is all they need for financial oversight It’s not. Here’s the difference: A 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 is like having an in-house financial department—minus the cost and hassle. They’re dedicated to fuelling your growth, optimising your systems, and fully managing your financial landscape 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: 💸 Manages payroll for your staff 🧾 Handles rent collection and supplier payments 💰 Keeps your cash flow steady, even with seasonal fluctuations 🕵️♂️ Identifies discrepancies in tenant payments and expenses 📊 Creates accurate, actionable budgets for property maintenance and growth 🧠 Helps you make smart investment and expansion decisions 📝 Provides monthly/quarterly financial reports and strategic planning insights 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬: Responds to your queries — when they have time Takes care of basic compliance but doesn't help you grow Answers your questions but doesn’t dive into the “why” behind them Sure, they manage payroll, transactions, and invoices—but that's the bare minimum 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞? If you only need the basics, hire an accountant But if you’re ready to elevate your financial strategy and streamline your property management business, you need a virtual finance team Want to take your property management to the next level? Experienced, commercially minded accountant. Recent entrepreneur enjoying the challenge of business. Husband, and Father to three lovely children. Proud school Governor. Hopeless centre back football player.
Does your construction business have a turnover of up to £10m? 🛠️ Consider a virtual finance department instead of a full finance team. To be honest, I’d be surprised if you had a full finance team. It would cost around £300k a year to hire each individual full-time. A virtual finance department provides you with a comprehensive finance team's expertise without the need to hire each role full-time. You get the same skills but with the blend you need (at a much cheaper price). For example, let’s compare the financial controller role: In a full finance team: They're employed full-time, with a full salary. In a virtual finance department: They contribute to about 20% of the specific tasks you need, seamlessly integrated with the virtual team's services. The other thing with hiring a full finance team is ensuring they are all doing the job well. In reality, you don’t even know how to do their job. Interested in hiring a virtual finance department? Outsource vs In-house finance team? 👇 Hiring in-house is time-consuming and costly. Outsourcing is ideal for service-based and tech-savvy businesses built on digital collaboration, looking for financial management and expertise at a fraction of the cost. Smaller businesses/agencies often don’t have the capacity to hire a bookkeeper, credit controller, accountant, FD, and the list goes on. However, there is still a need for the expertise provided by these roles. This is where an outsourced team is a perfect solution. Instead of hiring in-house, save money by relying on our fully digital team. 👩💻 #bookkeepingagency #marketingagency #finance

I help marketing agency owners reduce stress by relieving you of tax and accounts headache | Accountant
Hiring an accountant? Beware of the hidden headache! ⚠️ One of the challenges that can come with hiring an in-house accountant is that, as the marketing agency owner, you suddenly find yourself leading them. But here’s the catch—you’re not a finance expert, so how do you know what good really looks like? You know the results you want, but can you tell if the work is being done efficiently and up to the right standards? Sure, you might get lucky and hire a superstar 🌟, but that’s not always the case. I often hear from agency owners who struggle to get the management information they need, end up hiring more staff because the workload isn’t getting done, and find that their finance department is actually holding them back instead of providing valuable insights. When you hire a virtual finance team, they’re managed by experienced professionals who know exactly what good looks like and ensure your finance department delivers what you need. Plus, you don’t have to worry about paying for: Sick Pay Holiday Pay Employers National Insurance (currently 13.8%) Employers Pension (minimum 3%) Computer equipment for your finance department But the biggest saving? Your time. You won’t have to manage a finance department when you’re not trained in finance. I wouldn’t try to manage a team of designers or developers myself—that would be a disaster waiting to happen! 😅 Ready to focus on growing your agency without the headache of managing a finance team? Let’s chat. 📩
