The pace of innovation with generative AI is incredible, and at the end of the day our goal is to give customers the best choice of foundation models and a really rich set of services so they can build what they need for their use case. Most importantly, they need an environment where they can trust their data and workloads are secure. Thanks for the conversation, Jon Fortt. https://lnkd.in/ght46CGZ
Very true Matt, we need more in the ADCs!
Great way of differentiating AWS approach to AI vs Others and why AWS. The Bolt on vs built-in, enterprise capabilities, making security the foremost priority and having the option to broaden set of services and models to provide the necessary flexibility is very important to Enterprise customers like #Ricoh. These capabilities give businesses options to explore and support a wide range of use cases incorporating AI at different value to investment points.
Checkout my indepth paper on the state of Enterprise AI adoption. Hope you find it valuable. Thanks https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/we-build-ai-stack-enterprises-come-anand-muralidaran-igdmc/?trackingId=Fjmn%2FH7YSeGZcdRDegcf5Q%3D%3D
Matt Garman well said. For AWS to compete in Gen Ai & Ai market, providing access to different models, adjacent pre built & integrated services is key, especially given current deluge of LLMs in the market. Equally important is security and governance by design. Add Amazon hyperscalers to make it a complete package. Pricing it appropriately would be key so customers aren’t paying for one size fits all. Great interview & insights.
The freedom to choose between different foundation models is indeed pivotal - just as important as choosing the right cloud provider for the right type of workload ☁
Amazon Web Services (AWS) appears to be leading the way in trust. Don't ruin it for us!
Hi Matt Kindly check DM and help resolve AWS critical issue we are getting run around with. Your attention to this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Thanks for joining me, Matt!

2moI have significant concerns that have arisen from my recent shopping experience. During Amazon Prime Day, I ordered an internal hard drive for my son. However, I received an external portable hard drive instead. I contacted Amazon for assistance but was met with a lack of care from the reps. It seemed they were simply going through the motions and offering generic apologies without understanding. I provided photo proof, I waited the 3 business days for a response. I did not receive any communication during this time, prompting me to reach out once again. The rep stated to me that a return shipping label would be sent via email. However, when I requested a replacement order for the correct item, I was informed that it was no longer available on Amazon (which is a lie, they are in stock). Had one of the agents informed me during my initial call that I should purchase another hard drive while waiting for the photo proof response, I would have done so. I’d greatly appreciate your prompt attention and cooperation. With all the hard work and money that went into Rufus, I highly doubt my outcome today with your representatives, was the new vision for customer service standards, which was a far cry, from what Amazon once put out.
