He is the executive director of ArcelorMittal Group, the world’s second-largest steelmaking company with an empire worth 1.25 lakh crores.  What struck me most about him is that, despite learning the basics of entrepreneurship from his father, he endured years of hardship to reach his current position. He's worked for companies of all sizes with unwavering passion for the industry. For Mittal, steel production is more than just a business; it’s his lifeblood. Ravi Kabra was happily living in Australia when he got one phone call that changed his life. The call was from his mother in India, who told him that his dad had been diagnosed with oral cancer. Celebrating a Milestone at Ropha ! On January 27th, 2024, the Ropha team faced a pivotal moment in our journey. It marked the third failure in our prototype testing, and our funds were nearly depleted. With just enough resources left, my co-founder and I made a bold decision to invest everything into one final prototype. Fast forward to March 12th, and the stakes couldn't have been higher. If our latest test didn't yield positive results, it could have meant the end of our startup. But as they say, true entrepreneurs are truly tested during these defining moments. With nerves of steel, we embarked on the test at 5:15 PM IST. Every second felt like an eternity, but finally, at that critical moment, success was ours. The leading manufacturer, wholesaler and importer of CNC Tool Station, Inspection Table, Industrial Trolley, Industrial Pallets and many such products – SHN Enterprises faced challenges of paying salaries, vendor payments, retaining his core team, among other problems. Associated with BYST for 11 years, Hitender reached out to his mentor who suggested a few key tweaks. Having adopted a fixed price policy before, SHN started offering discounts and also became open to negotiation on the price of new products.
