Our research strength has been recognised in the latest Research Excellence Framework 2021, listed in the Top 20 of 108 UK business and management schools, due to the quality of research output and excellent research environment.

Alongside publishing in top academic journals, our academics lead impactful research projects for companies and governments worldwide, with remarkable examples in developing sustainable business strategies, addressing the impact of gambling on consumers, workplace equality and more.

We also support pioneering interdisciplinary projects through our research centres, which bring together academic experts, external organisations and funding, to find solutions to contemporary issues in society and business.
