Theater department faculty are accomplished teachers, dedicated artists, practicing professionals and experienced staff committed to the development of the next generation of theater practitioners and innovators. The faculty are continually recognized as experts in their respective artistic form. Our faculty value engaged interdisciplinary collaboration as way to provide quality artistic education for all students. Because of Rutgers’ central location between both the NYC and Philadelphia metropolitan areas, our faculty are able to regularly engage in professional activities building knowledge that informs contemporary advancements in artistic education, with the goal to train students as future colleagues in the field of professional theater.
