Di Zhou received the B.Sc. degree in Automatic Control from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in Aircraft Control, Guidance and Simulation from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 1997. From April 1997 to May 1999, he was a Postdoctoral fellow in the Automation Department of Tsinghua University. From June 1999 to October 2001, he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Control Science and Engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology. Then, he was a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sophia University. Since January 2003, he has been working at the Harbin Institute of Technology as a Professor. He is the Editorial Board Member of Acta Aeronautica Sinica and Acta Ordnance Sinica, and expert on the 1912 Project Control Group. His research interests mainly focus on nonlinear control and filtering theory, and new methods for aircraft guidance control.
