JMSE Webinar | The Place of Offshore Renewable Energy in the Transition for a Low-Carbon Future, 11 July 2024

MDPI would like to invite all experts recognized in their fields to attend the webinar organized by the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering (JMSE, ISSN: 2077-1312), titled “The Place of Offshore Renewable Energy in the Transition for a Low-Carbon Future”. The aim of the webinar is to explore the role of offshore renewable energy (ORE) in the transition to a low-carbon future. As climate change accelerates and energy demand grows, replacing fossil fuels with renewable sources is crucial to reduce CO2 emissions and meet the Paris Climate Agreement's target of limiting global warming to below 2°C. Despite ongoing challenges in developing durable, cost-effective marine technologies, ORE offers significant potential.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the webinar.
