Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) supports teachers through professional development, community building, and broadening participation in CS education.
TeachAI
Microsoft is actively engaged in the TeachAI initiative, which is providing thought leadership to guide governments, educators, and educational leaders on the future of CS education in an age of AI.

Microsoft MakeCode is a free online learn-to-code platform where anyone, at any skill level, can build up their coding skills to create games, write programs for devices, and code mods for Minecraft.
Visual Studio (VS) Code for Education
VS Code for Education offers a free online CS education platform that provides integrated curriculum and a sandbox coding environment for everyone. With zero setup, anyone can be a developer and start learning to code.

CodePath has supported over 30,000 CS students across the US, the majority of whom are Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, or from low-income backgrounds. Join a community of tech professionals eager to connect with and offer career support to college CS students as they prepare to be tomorrow’s tech leaders.
Code.org
Code.org is partnering with Microsoft to offer multiple opportunities for tech professionals to volunteer in support of CS educators and students. From helping teachers develop confidence in CS, to mentoring young women in high school CS classes, there is way for you to make an impact.
TEALS Program by the numbers
The TEALS program has served over 100,000 students and 2,000 teachers at over 1,300 partner schools since its inception.
Over 7,500 volunteers from more than 3,000 companies have supported CS education through the TEALS Program.
Forty-seven percent of US TEALS students in 2022 identified as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, or Indigenous; 30 percent identified as women; and one in five schools are in rural communities (2022-2023 school year).
