Professional Biography

Spencer Monheim is the Subproject Manager for the Second Shift Capabilities Subproject (SSC) within the Advanced Capabilities for Emergency Response Operations Project (ACERO). Prior to his work on ACERO, Spencer worked as a software product owner for the eXtensible Traffic Management (xTM) Subproject. Before xTM, Spencer was a technical lead for software development within the UAM Subproject. Spencer joined civil service in 2017, having previously worked as a contractor at NASA Ames working on air traffic management simulations for two years. Spencer holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Astrophysics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
