Webinar training has emerged as a powerful tool for delivering flexible, accessible, and cost-effective educational content to the weights and measures community. NIST OWM receives numerous requests to provide legal metrology documentary standards and weights and measures training offerings throughout the year. Thus, we are continuously seeking new ways to meet the needs of our stakeholders while continuing to develop new relevant offerings to encourage participation in professional development and enhance technical skills.

The NIST Office of Weights and Measures (OWM) National Legal Metrology Program (NLMP) is pleased to announce that several of our regularly hosted webinars have now been recorded and made available to assist our weights and measures stakeholders with their ongoing education. Accessing recorded webinars allows participants to learn at their own pace and schedule. They are also provided with a great opportunity to watch the webinar again to ensure understanding and facilitate the accurate application of the topic.

These on-demand webinar recordings are also available on our e-Learning Resources page, which is part of the overall OWM Products and Services webpage. The following is a list of the current recorded webinar training offered:

A Precision Scales Overview is in the process of being recorded and will be released by the end of 2024.

OWM continues to develop new e-learning webinars for our customers, which has enabled us to supplement the traditional method of hosting quarterly webinars, held on a certain date and time, to educating through on-demand webinar classes. In addition to recorded webinars, please see the complete list of e-learning resources available:

We welcome your feedback on the availability and usefulness of the recorded webinars.
